How do I place my order?

First, log in with your SwitchGads account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up here*insert hyperlink to sign up page*.

Browse through the available listings and click on buy it now on that listing page. Enter your payment info and necessary information and click pay! Gadget will be sent to you as quickly as we can.

The website is looking weird and doesn’t seem to work for me. How can I fix it?

SwitchGads.com uses the latest graphics and you’re probably using an old browser that doesn’t support our website. You might want to try updating your browser or download a new one that is up to date.

How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?

Your transaction data will be handled confidentially and encrypted with SSL (Secure-Socket-Layer) server software. The encrypted information of your order, your name, address, credit card and bank details cannot be read by a third party.

Are devices brand new or used?

Devices are categorized according to the seller. Brand New, Mint, Good, and Fair are allowed for sale here on SwitchGads. It is indicated on the device’s sale page.

Is there a number for SwitchGads?

As of right now, SwitchGads does not have a number. On the bright side, who needs a number when we are only an email or tweet away 🙂

Do you do repairs?

SwitchGads currently does not offer repairs on new or used items. It would be a great addition in the future though!

Can I delete my SwitchGads account?

You most certainly can! But but but why? In any case, shoot us a request here.

Where are your products sourced from?

Our products are sourced from third party sources. Before we send out our products, we do a thorough inspection to make sure you’re getting products at their best quality and condition.

Selling On SwitchGads

How do I sell on SwitchGads?

Selling on SwitchGads is easy peasy. First, sign up to join the family. Once you complete the sign up process, you’ll be prompted to create a Stripe account upon logging in through the app. You need this in order to cash out your earnings.

How much are the seller fees?

Below, you will find the seller fees:

$0 – $300 = $20

$301 – $500 = $30

$501 – $700 = $40

$701 – $999 = $50

$1000 – $1999 = $80

$2000 – $2999 = $110

$3000 – $3999 = $150

$4000 – $4999 = $200

$5000 – $5999 = $250

$6000 – $6999 = $300

 

How can I cancel my sale?

Bummer! Cancellation of sales are vibe killers. We do not condone cancellations as we aim to keep our family happy. However, if you must cancel, you are able to do so in the app, under manage your sales. Keep in mind that multiple cancellations will result in an evaluation of your sellers account.

Do I pay for shipping my device to SwitchGads?

We try to keep things simple. Once you confirm sale within the app, we will email you a pre paid, pre addressed shipping label. Failure to use this label will create delays and complications to sale. We wouldn’t want that right?

When do I get paid?

Once one of our inspector gadget techs gives it the thumbs up, we will release earnings to your Switch Credit account to use within the app for purchases or simply cash it out..

How do I cash out my earnings?

We got you. Simply open the app, tap on the hamburger menu (4 lines) on the top left and tap on Switch Credit. From there, you’ll be able to withdraw your funds. Transfers to stripe accounts typically take 2-3 business days to complete.

Refunds/Returns/Cancellation

Can I cancel my purchase?

You may cancel your order within 3 hours of making your purchase or before it’s confirmed by the seller – whichever one comes first. When 3 hours has been reached from when you placed the order and/or the seller has confirmed the order, then the order cannot be canceled. If none have occurred, go ahead and hit the cancel button on the order screen.

Do you accept returns?

We only accept returns on brand new sealed items. You have 3 days from the day you receive gadget to request a return. Gadget must be in same condition it was bought in which would be sealed. We do not accept returns on used items. Usually, shipping charges for returns are paid for by the customer. Please fill out a support ticket here for return. Please include an invoice in the box to avoid delays in refund. We recommend that you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Lost or damaged packages are beyond our control and is not our responsibility.

Why was my order cancelled?

We do not condone cancelling of sales from our sellers. However, there are times where they need to cancel. We will try to locate that gadget in the event of that happening. If we can’t find that replacement, we will cancel the order and issue a refund. Don’t worry. We are family and we got you.

How do I process a return?

You have 3 days to request a return from the date you received the item. To start a return, please fill out a support ticket here. Once your return has been received, the item will be evaluated before your refund is made. Evaluation criteria include the following:

Item must include a printout of the order reciept—Please note: Returns will not be processed without a SwitchGads printout receipt.

Item must be in the condition they were in when sent by us, which is sealed brand new condition unopened. We do not accept returns on used items

Item must be shipped to us within 3 days from receiving your item. The evaluation process may take up to 7 days from receipt of return request and we reserve the right to make the final decision on all return requests.

Shipping

How long can I expect for my order to arrive?

Great question! It will typically take 7-10 business days (Mon-Fri) fo receive your gadget. Gadget will ship to us, we fully inspect device, and we turn around and ship it to you. Don’t worry, we get you.

What can cause my order to be delayed?

Possible reasons your order may be delayed include:

  • Poor weather conditions
  • Failed delivery attempts due to the unavailability of recipient
  • Temporary technical issues experienced by the carrier
  • The delivery address is a P.O. Box – carriers do not usually deliver to a P.O. Box. Indicate your street address instead.
  • Difficult access to recipient’s property
  • Surge in delivery volume, especially during peak seasons
How can I change my shipping address?

Head into the SwitchGads app, tap the hamburger menu on top left (4 lines), and tap on profile. From there, you’ll be able to change your shipping address.

How much do you charge for shipping?

We charge $12.99 for phones and watches. $14.99 for tablets. $19.99 for MacBooks.

Do you ship internationally?

Sorry, we don’t offer international shipping as of now. We currently operate only within the US.

What do I do if I never received my order?

If you have not yet received your order and it’s already past its estimated time of arrival, please send us an email at Help@SwitchGads.com.

What if my order came in defective?

We thoroughly inspect each device that passes through SwitchGads. We would hate to see you end up with a device that is defective. Please fill out a support ticket here.

Is a signature required for me to receive my package?

All of our products ship with a “Signature Required” upon receipt. Discrimination will be left to the carrier to determine if the signature will be required to receive the package.

What are your accepted payment options?

We currently accept Credit/Debit cards and Stripe as payment.

How does Stripe work?

Stripe is the world’s leading online payment service because it’s fast, secure, and hassle-free! If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up for one here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/register All you need is a Credit/Debit card that is supported by Stripe, and you’re all set!

Once you’ve created an account, you can use it to pay for your order at Checkout.

I have a credit card but it was rejected at Checkout. Why did this happen?

SwitchGads supports all major credit cards. Your credit card may have been denied at Checkout for the following reasons:

  • Your credit card is expired
  • You entered the wrong card number/expiration date
  • You have insufficient funds

Will SwitchGads collect any sales tax on my order?

If your order is shipping to an address within New York, local sales tax will be automatically assessed. Otherwise, no sales tax will be collected.
