General

How do I place my order?

First, log in with your SwitchGads account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up here*insert hyperlink to sign up page*.

Then, go to the page of the device you want to purchase and pick “Pay In Full” if you will pay for the device’s whole price (plus shipping fee) or “Finance From” if you would rather pay by installment (plus shipping fee for the first month.

Once you’ve selected your payment scheme, click “Add To Cart” to add your item into your cart. To place your order, click the “Cart” button on the upper right corner of the screen, then proceed to Checkout.
Fill in the billing details as indicated in the checkout form and select your mode of payment. Once everything’s filled up, click “Place Order” so we can start processing your order.

Orders that are placed before 1PM (EST) will be shipped on the same day. When placed beyond 1PM (EST), your order will be shipped the following day.

Do you accept bulk orders?

Not at the moment! Our maximum number of orders at a time is 4 per account.

The website is looking weird and doesn’t seem to work for me. How can I fix it?

SwitchGads.com uses the latest graphics and you’re probably using an old browser that doesn’t support our website. You might want to try updating your browser or download a new one that is up to date.

How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?

Your transaction data will be handled confidentially and encrypted with SSL (Secure-Socket-Layer) server software. The encrypted information of your order, your name, address, credit card and bank details cannot be read by a third party.

Are your devices brand new or used?

Our devices are categorized according to its condition: Good, Mint, and Brand New. It is indicated on the device’s sale page.

Where are your products sourced from?

Our products are sourced from third party sources. Before we send out our products, we do a thorough inspection to make sure you’re getting products at their best quality and condition.

Do you do repairs?

SwitchGads currently does not offer repairs on new or used items. It would be a great addition in the future though!

I found an item that I like, but I couldn’t add it to my cart. Why not?

It’s probably because that item is out of stock. You can try again when it comes back in stock, which we will notify you if you’re subscribed to our newsletter here*insert hyperlink to newsletter*

SwitchGads Skip The Line

Want to upgrade your phone but still paying monthly for your SwitchGads purchase? We got you! Our Skip The Line program will let you switch to a new device while you’re currently subscribed to a plan.

How can I qualify for Skip The Line?

First, you must have fulfilled 3 months worth of on-time payment in your current plan to be qualified. Upon return, your device should be free of cracks, blemishes, scratches, and any sort of alterations both on its exterior and in its software.

Which devices are qualified for Skip The Line?

All devices are qualified for Skip The Line. There are currently two pricing tiers to choose from: $9.99* and $14.99*. No downpayment needed, you only have to pay an additional shipping fee for the first month of payments!

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your Skip The Line subscription, kindly send us an email at Help@SwitchGads.com.

My subscription device is broken/damaged! What’s gonna happen now?

For devices that are damaged/altered externally and/or internally, we may take the following actions:

  • We will charge you the cost to repair a damaged or altered device.
  • We will charge you the suggested retail price of a destroyed/altered device or a non-returned device (which may be greater than what you originally paid for), plus shipping and handling charges.

Refunds/Returns/Cancellation

Can I return/cancel/refund my purchase?

Yes! Just send us an email at Help@SwitchGads.com and we’ll take care of it. However, this must be done within 20 calendar days after you have received your device/accessory and the following should be accomplished:

 

  • You MUST include your proof of purchase and return form upon returning your device. Otherwise, we will not process your request.
  • Your device must be returned with ALL the original accessories/equipment it came with in its package when you received it. 
  • There should be NO alterations or damages to your device/accessory. This isn’t just limited to its exterior, as any changes to its software will deem your device unqualified for returns/cancellation/refund.

Additionally:

  • Limited edition and other devices (to be indicated) are not eligible for exchange or refund.
  • Refunds and exchanges will be less any rebates, restocking fees, and shipping costs.
I want to return my item. Do I have to pay for shipping?

Yes. Usually, shipping charges for returns are paid for by the customer. Please visit our Start A Return page*insert hyperlink* for the step by step instruction. We recommend that you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Lost or damaged packages are beyond our control and is not our responsibility.

I did an oopsie and altered/damaged my device. What now?

Should your device have some damage or alterations on its exterior or software, we may take one or more of the following actions:
• We will not process your request for cancellation.
• We will charge you the cost to repair a damaged or altered device.
• We will charge you the suggested retail price of a destroyed/altered device or a non-returned device (which may be greater than what you originally paid for), plus shipping and handling charges.

Shipping

How long can I expect for my order to arrive?

Orders placed before 1PM EST will ship on the same day. Beyond that, orders will be shipped the following business day.
You can expect your package to arrive within 2-5 days, depending on your location.

What can cause my order to be delayed?

Once you’ve placed an order, it will be immediately shipped if orders were made before 1PM (EST). After that, it is in the hands of the carrier to make sure your package arrives on time. Possible reasons your order may be delayed include:

  • Poor weather conditions
  • Failed delivery attempts due to the unavailability of recipient
  • Temporary technical issues experienced by the carrier
  • The delivery address is a P.O. Box – carriers do not usually deliver to a P.O. Box. Indicate your street address instead.
  • Difficult access to recipient’s property
  • Surge in delivery volume, especially during peak seasons
How can I change my shipping address?

Are there any additional charges for shipping?

Yes, we charge a flat rate of $4.99 on top of your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Sorry, we don’t offer international shipping as of now.

What do I do if I never received my order?

If you have not yet received your order and it’s already past its estimated time of arrival, please send us an email at Help@SwitchGads.com.

What if my order came in defective?

Please refer to the Returns/Cancellations/Refunds section for a step by step guide on how to return your defective device.

Is a signature required for me to receive my package?

All of our products ship with a “Signature Required” upon receipt. Discrimination will be left to the carrier to determine if the signature will be required to receive the package.

Payments

What are your accepted payment options?

We currently accept Credit/Debit cards and Stripe as payment.

How does Stripe work?

Stripe is the world’s leading online payment service because it’s fast, secure, and hassle-free! If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up for one here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/register All you need is a Credit/Debit card that is supported by Stripe, and you’re all set!

Once you’ve created an account, you can use it to pay for your order at Checkout.

I have a credit card but it was rejected at Checkout. Why did this happen?

SwitchGads supports all major credit cards. Your credit card may have been denied at Checkout for the following reasons:

  • Your credit card is expired
  • You entered the wrong card number/expiration date
  • You have insufficient funds

 

Contact your respective credit card company to fix any unsettled issues to continue enjoying fast and secure online transactions.

Will SwitchGads collect any sales tax on my order?

If your order is shipping to an address within New York, local sales tax will be automatically assessed. Otherwise, no sales tax will be collected.
